ASTM D2783 Four-Ball Friction Testing Machine Wear Testing Machine
1.Main functions

The MS-10D four-ball friction testing machine is mainly used in the form of sliding friction to assess the bearing capacity of the lubricant under extremely high point contact pressure conditions. It includes three indexes, such as maximum non-bite load PB, sintering load PD and comprehensive wear value ZMZ. The machine can also do long-term wear resistance test of lubricants and determine the friction coefficient. When connected to a computer, friction and temperature curves can be recorded. If special friction accessories are used, rolling friction tests, simulated wear tests between various materials, end wear tests and rolling fatigue tests of steel balls can also be carried out. Before the test load reaches the maximum card-free load PB, it can be judged that the maximum card-free load has not been reached according to the control software of the testing machine. When this load is reached, it can be judged as the maximum card-free load PB by the display curve of the software. Thus precise measurements can be made using a microscope. Save a lot of time and material resources. And can edit the control program to load.
