1. Equipment introduction

The BD-5 type bending tester is designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB11614-2009 "Floating Glass". It is used to test the bending of various glass products. It is suitable for a series of glass products such as float glass, tempered glass, etc.
2. Instrument Principles
This instrument uses a straightened thin steel wire as a reference, and uses a precisely collimated guide rail as a reference. The dial meter is installed on the guide rail to move in a straight line. The distance between the glass sample and the steel wire is tested, thereby calculating the bending degree of the glass sample.

4. Operation method
1. Decide whether to use the sample bracket under the instrument beam based on the size of the measured sample.
2. Visually measure the glass to be tested, so that the concave surface of the glass faces the instrument, place the glass sample vertically on the sample holder, and try to keep the glass parallel to the instrument guide rail.
3. Debug the steel wire and let the two ends of the steel wire and the glass gently lean up. At this time, a gap appears between the middle of the glass and the steel wire.
4. Move the dial meter to the contact points of both ends of the steel wire and glass, read out the dial meter values d1 and d2 respectively, and read out the spacing L of the two contact points (that is, the length of the glass) from the steel ruler on the guide rail.
Note: When moving the dial meter, first use the main command switch to select two independent control methods: local button control and remote control; the speed control box is equipped with a switch and a knob that adjusts the horizontal movement speed of the dial meter.
5. Move the dial gauge to 1/2 of the midpoint of the glass and read out the gap d0 between the steel wire and the glass.
6. Calculate the bending degree of glass according to the following formula to obtain B=[(d2+d1)/2-d0]÷L
5. Maintenance and maintenance
The key to this machine is the high alignment accuracy of the guide rail. You should observe whether there are foreign objects on the surface of the guide rail and whether the high-precision guide rail is oil-deficient (it is recommended to be maintained once a year).
