1. Introduction
DG-5A point light source detector is a special equipment used to detect ordinary plate glass.
I. Working principle
Ordinary plate with a point light source at a certain distance, a certain Angle of illumination, the glass rib will produce some bright lines on a plane behind the glass plate, the brighter the line, the heavier the glass rib,
The instrument adopts this principle, using the light source of the slide projector to illuminate the glass, placing a white screen behind the glass plate, and comparing the bright line of the glass bar standard sample confirmed by glass experts with the bright line of the sample.

2. Operation method
    1. Put a glass sample on.
    2. Turn on the light source switch.
    3. Turn off the room lights.         
    4. Use standard samples to compare stripes with glass samples with different light and dark appearance on the screen to determine the glass reinforcement level.
    5. Turn on the room lighting lamp.
    6. Turn off the light source switch.  
    7. Take off the glass sample and place it.
