1. Introduction
The dry cleaning and washing cylinder is also known as: Dry Cleaning Tester, AATCC 162 tester. The Gellowen G292 dry cleaning and washing cylinder is used to test the color fastness of fabrics during dry cleaning and chlorine water washing, and it can also prepare samples for the burning test. The instrument consists of a 7650 milliliter stainless steel test box, a stand, and a multi-speed driver equipped with a digital timer.

3. Scope of application
It can be used for the determination of physical indicators such as appearance color, size change and peel strength of heat-melt bonded fabric and various textiles after dry cleaning with organic solvents and alkaline solutions. It can also be used for the preparation of test samples for combustion tests
4. Notes
1. During the dry cleaning test, the instrument should be placed in a fume hood for the test (the solvent used is perchloroethylene, which is toxic).
2. Operators need to wear gas masks and protective gloves.
3. Liquid recovery should be handled carefully and can be sent to the waste liquid recycling station.
