1. Experimental principle
The textile sample and the control standard sample are simultaneously placed in the gas smoke. The experiment ends when the color change of the control standard sample reaches the level equivalent to the fading standard. The color change of the sample is evaluated using a gray card.
If no color change is observed in the sample after one experimental cycle, the experiment can continue for the specified number of cycles or until the sample reaches the color change required.

3. Main application
To test the color fastness of fabrics when exposed to nitrogen oxides produced by gas combustion. It includes a testing chamber, a combustion box, a control box, an observation door, a control panel, a timer, a temperature control meter, an air valve switch, a fan and an exhaust device.
The smoke color fastness testing system places the sample in a certain concentration of smoke environment until a certain color change occurs or after the specified time, it compares with the standard chart.
This machine is suitable for testing the color fastness performance of all textiles, except loose fibers, when exposed to atmospheric nitrogen oxides produced by chemical butane gas or urban gas combustion.
The textile sample and the control standard sample are simultaneously placed in the gas smoke, and the test ends when the color change of the control standard sample reaches the color equivalent to the fading standard. The color change of the sample is evaluated using a gray sample card. If no color change is observed in a test cycle, the test can continue for the specified number of times or the number of test cycles required to cause the sample to produce the specified color change.

This machine consists of a combustion chamber, a testing chamber, an exhaust port, and a control panel. The combustion chamber includes a Bunsen burner, an automatic ignition device, etc., and the testing chamber includes a rotating sample holder, an observation lamp, etc. The control panel can set the test temperature, test time, and over-temperature alarm time, etc.
During operation, the machine can automatically detect the temperature value of the testing chamber. If it is lower than the set value, it will automatically ignite and heat up, and when it reaches the set value, it will automatically shut off. The flame size can be manually adjusted.
