1. Instrument use
Plastic combustion smoke density tester is based on the national standard GB/8323.2-2008 provided by the technical conditions and research and development of a new type of measurement of smoke density test equipment, this standard is suitable for the determination of plastic combustion smoke generated by the density of light, and the maximum density of light as the test results.It is used to evaluate the smoke properties of plastics under specified conditions.
In line with the GB8323.2-2008 "plastics - smoke generation - part 2: single chamber method to determine the smoke density test method" and ISO5659.2-2006 "plastics - smoke generation - part 2: single chamber method to determine the optical density" test standards.The whole instrument is composed of closed test chamber, photometer measuring system, radiation cone, combustion system, igniter, test box, bracket, thermometer table and smoke density testing software;The circuit is developed by single chip microcomputer with high technical content and stable performance.This instrument is suitable for all plastics, also can be suitable for the evaluation of other materials (such as rubber, textile coverings, coatings, wood and other materials), is widely used in the plastics industry, solid materials industry production plants and scientific research and testing units.

2. Test chamber
The front door is installed with a window and a movable opaque screen that can block the window, the bottom of the square box is installed with blasting aluminum foil to prevent overpressure, and the top is installed with an internal pressure regulating device of the box.
Inner dimension: height 914±3mm, width 914±3mm, depth 610±3mm;External dimension: 1680mm high, 1450mm wide, 850mm deep (this size is for reference only)
Material: 1.5mm steel plate, baked white electrostatic paint outside, baked black paint inside.

3. Radiation cone
1. radiation cone: by the rated power of 2600W heating element, can provide 10KW/m2~50KW/m2 in the center of the sample surface radiation intensity.
2. radiation cone heater: by an independent power supply transformer power 3000W, single-phase isolation transformer temperature controller, silicon controlled.
3. heat flow meter: range of 50 kW /m2, receiving radiation area diameter of 10mm flat area, using water cooling.
4. igniter: igniter nozzle is made of Φ4.0mm aperture copper tube, flame length, horizontal measurement is 30mm.
Combustion system: composed of pressure regulator valve, filter, regulating valve flowmeter and burner.
1. Gas is propane with a purity of more than 95%
2. burner: composed of igniter and nozzle, nozzle is 10mm higher than the horizontal position of the upper surface of the sample, and placed in the center of the sample
