BGD 8140S Multifunctional Irradiance Radiometer
Description:
For all artificial accelerated light-aging equipment, irradiance (or radiant energy) is one of the most critical parameters affecting test results. Over time, components such as filters, irradiance probes, and sensors in aging test chambers may degrade, leading to drift in displayed irradiance values. Therefore, regular calibration of irradiance is essential to ensure accuracy in accelerated aging tests.
The BGD 8140S Multifunctional Irradiance Radiometer, developed by Biaogeda Company, is a revolutionary handheld instrument designed for this purpose. It consists of a portable irradiance calibration meter (main unit) and one or more specialized probes. To use:
1.Select the appropriate probe based on the calibration target.
2.Insert the probe into the radiometer and choose the lamp type (e.g., xenon or UV) and filter on the display.
3.Place the probe inside the aging chamber and activate the test equipment.
4.Calibrate the irradiance by comparing the values displayed on the radiometer with the chamber's readings.
Additionally, when a probe is connected, the radiometer automatically reads and displays the probe's factory ID and calibration date, ensuring users track recalibration schedules.
The BGD 8140S is compatible with all Biaogeda aging chambers (xenon arc and fluorescent UV) and offers unique advantages over conventional radiometers:
* Automatic Probe Recognition: Identifies probe type and parameters upon insertion.
* Universal Xenon Probe: Calibrates irradiance for both air-cooled and water-cooled xenon lamps across multiple filters.
* UV Probe Versatility: Supports calibration of all fluorescent UV lamps (UVA/UVB) with a single probe.
* High-Resolution Display: 5-inch capacitive touchscreen (1080×720) for intuitive operation.
* Modular Design: Separate probes and main unit reduce costs compared to integrated systems.
* Flexible Calibration Management: Probes can be recalibrated or replaced after expiration.
* Bilingual Interface: Built-in Chinese and English language options.
