Description:
The LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) handheld spectral analyzer can conduct rapid and direct analysis, and can simultaneously analyze multiple elements. Just by making direct contact with the surface of the sample to be tested, the grade of the ore and the types of elements can be determined on-site.
It truly achieves rapid and accurate on-site testing, directly displaying the content or percentage of the elements. The sealed large-screen color TFT display has no LCD "altitude sickness", and is moisture-proof and dust-proof.
Detector - Works at an ultra-low temperature of -35ºC, with high resolution. Automatic voltage and filter selection ensure that the instrument achieves laboratory-level analytical accuracy.
The LIBS laser-induced handheld spectroscopic analyzer can effectively monitor the production process, improve the enterprise's quality management system, and enhance production efficiency. Applications
The handheld LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) laser-induced spectrometer uses a high-energy focused laser beam to excite the surface of the sample, and analyzes the resulting atomic spectra to determine the corresponding elemental composition and content.
Since the invention of the first ruby laser in 1960, which injected new vitality into atomic spectroscopy analysis, phenomena such as laser beam focusing and breakdown of the laser beam similar to spark sources have been reported in the literature. In 1962, Jarrell-Ash's Brech published the first article on using laser-generated plasma for analysis, marking the birth of laser ablation analysis technology. In 1964, thanks to the Q-switched pulse technology of the laser, laser ablation analysis no longer required auxiliary electrode discharge but could directly generate plasma through the laser for analysis, which was the prototype of today's LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy). By the 1980s, the Los Alamos Laboratory in the United States used the spectral information of laser plasma to measure the elemental information of substances, thus officially naming this technology LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy).
One of the major news in the field of analysis in this century is that NASA of the United States adopted the LIBS technology as the means for mineral analysis on the surface of Mars - ChemCam, and successfully completed the scientific research mission. Therefore, the application of LIBS technology has accordingly become a major research hotspot. Compared with other commonly used methods for elemental analysis, its main advantages are:

(1) By taking advantage of the unique properties of lasers, remote, real-time and online elemental detection can be achieved.

(2) The instrument is relatively small in size and is suitable for on-site analysis and can be used for measurement in harsh conditions.
(3) It can be used for the analysis of various forms of solids, liquids and even gases, and there is no need for cumbersome sample pretreatment procedures. The analysis is simple and rapid.
(4) It can measure difficult-to-dissolve and highly hard materials. The size requirements for the samples are not strict, and it causes little damage to the samples, enabling micro-damage or even near-no-damage detection. The sample consumption is extremely low (about 0.1μg - 0.1mg).
(5) The analysis time is short. The entire process from the emission of the laser pulse to the collection of the signal takes only milliseconds.
(6) It can simultaneously detect multiple elements.
